Daily Tarot Card Draw, Aug 6 2010: The Empress

This morning as I sat with my green tea and poppyseed bagel, I drew the Empress from my Rider-Waite Tarot. For reasons that I've expressed in past writeups, I don't 100% relate to this deck, but I've felt very compelled to work with it this week.
Anyhow, The Empress. The card depicts a lady in a flowing gown decorated with pomegranates (yum) and what looks to me to be a crown made of flowers. She is lounging on some luxurious pillows in a field, with trees and a stream behind her.
I got two reads on this:
I'm sure The Empress is my sister, who is expecting. Earlier this week, she had occasion to be in hospital (false alarm) and that day I got "The Empress", "The Star" every time I picked up my deck. I think sister is ready to have her baby.
I'm also wondering if The Empress is me, but not for baby reasons, just general lady reasons. I've been growing out my hair and wearing jewelery again for the first time in a long time. Heck, I'm wearing a skirt today. I wonder if The Empress represents my renewal in a more lady-like wardrobe.
Happy Friday everybody!
