Welcome to my tarot blog. I am a tarot beginner, I picked up my Rider-Waite deck shortly after Christmas 2009 after having wanted to learn to read for a long time. I keep this blog mostly for myself, but would welcome any discussion that anybody would like to contribute to my tarot journaling. I am especially interested in the history of Tarot/Tarocchi and would like to learn not only how to read Tarot cards, but Tarot card games as well.

Daily Tarot Card Draw, 22 March 2010: Ace of Wands (Reversed)

Daily Tarot Card Draw, 22 March 2010: Ace of Wands (Reversed)

This *afternoon* (I had the day off and I've only just started my day after 1, eeep!), I pulled my daily card from the Tell-Me Tarot. I got the reversed Ace of Wands.

This is, without a doubt, the silliest card in the Tell-Me Tarot- I won't tell you what it looks like as you can probably all figure that out for yourselves! The description on the card reads: "Ace of Wands = Action (+)/This is an excellent time to act. Be creative. Let your enthusiasm take you to new horizons and heights."

So what happened today? I had the day off. My husband and I walked downtown, and hit the library and our favourite coffee shop where we had the most ridiculous and delicious croissant. We came home, I watched tv and read a bit, we watched a movie, I went for a run, and cooked supper. This evening, I've been half-heartedly watching Dancing with the Stars (like I said on facebook- in grade 5, I had no. idea. that my hero Buzz Aldrin would be on a reality tv show for ballroom dancing) and did a new tarot card spread.

So what do I think this card meant for me? I'm not sure. I don't think my day holds true to Eden Gray's suggestion of false starts for a reversed wand. All I know is that in this deck this card looks absolutely silly.
